Architect Display Co. completed the design and advancement of Home of Corridor, a modern residence positioned in Fukuoka, Japan. Taking part in with geometric shapes, the architects created a visually intriguing street facade. A wooden entrance was integrated in the all round design and style of the building, incorporating an interesting aesthetic impact, as effectively as a practical attribute: the first degree of the house is completely shut from the curious eyes of the passers-by.
On a house surrounded by villas on 3 sides, arranging House of Corridor came with several issues: “I aimed at a residence that can safeguard private spaces, whilst capturing wind and light. Offered with a light coat in the center of the property, I had to generate a vertical connection. I produced a vivid and spacious living area connecting the upper and reduced level, without narrowing the room”, explained the architect. Higher ceilings and minimalist arrangements define the rooms of this Japanese property, exactly where everything looks and feels magnified. [Images by: Toshihisa Ishii]
