Wood Property by Schlyter / Gezelius Arkitektkontor AB:

“Background, reduced influence no waste: During the final 25 years I have worked with and studied how the use of computer systems and application have affected architecture and the physical landscape.

Initial I was in raptures about the possibilities. Though this is still real there are other implications that are all the more worrying. The waste of room in today´s interiors and exteriors, the lack of respect for the natural landscape, the international use of non-renewable materials, and how all of this in numerous methods is linked to our digital tools.

In “low affect no waste” I have attempted to tackle this. The property is constructed by a neighborhood contractor and a local carpentry shop has milled all the developing components. Each and every element of the building was made particularly for this task to awoid waste material. I have used various sorts of wood from sustainably forested woodland.”
