The design is clean and really constrained in architectural components. Fundamental finish materials: white plaster, iron and glass. The outdated home served the family members whilst raising kids. Now, when the youngsters left property, it is property for the couple and serves for internet hosting the family members and the grandchildren. The clientele desired a modern property without levels, open, but with intimate corners for the loved ones.

It was critical for the couple to remain at the very same neighbourhood, but to develop a home according to  their new wants. Because they didn’t be successful to find land they loved, and favored to stay in the old residence setting – they decided to build a new residence on the outdated property base. Not to ruin the outdated infrastructure – but planed to use it for the new residence. A good deal of advantages are in renovating old house: Understanding the far and close to setting, being aware of the web site and the present strategy, adopting them to the new demands of the new system, as effectively as conserving cash and time of creating permits and renovation.

Simply because we left the present skeleton base, floor heights stays reduced, and the old floors and columns- formed a great deal of planning situations. The new design used robust architectural language that distinct the volumes of the constructing and hide the old columns and ceilings. Because of the low ceiling height we had to redesign wisely the lighting technique and the air conditioning- not to decrease the ceilings (Air condition hides in the walls). At operate we had to align the frame of the house, and had to fill up to 8 cm thick plaster.

The building is close in the front and sides, and very open to the back garden Modest amount of practical spaces -projecting in the number of openings. Fewer bedrooms – requirements fewer windows. Heavy sealed shell on 3 sides, compared with large glass walls to the back – reinforcing the connection of the property to the garden. Heavy beam, surrounding the residence and garden location, shading doorways and seating regions. At the entrance a big water element, a “reflecting pool”, this reflects the front of the property as a mirror, soothing and creates “white noise” that disconnects the entrance from the noisy outdoors road. A floating wooden bridge leads guest to the large “front door”.

Home revolves around a central staircase – transparent and connects the diverse spaces of the open ground floor. On 1 side- of the living room and family space, front dining room, and the kitchen with the intimate dining corner, pantry and outdoors kitchen. The kitchen is created by Italian company ” Boffi” – partially open to the living space and hides doing work corners. The dining spot off the kitchen, inner and external – is used for consuming and managing the loved ones every day’s daily life. The Husband’s dream was to have “outside doing work kitchen” in the garden, that connected to the back pantry and kitchen.

Spacious residing area and accommodates a lot of guests, furnished with relaxed and stylish Italian furnishings. The combined family area following to the residing space with a particular library – quickly became the center of the residence. Intimate and cozy. The property central staircase hiding the big dining region, which hosts the loved ones with direct link to the lovely back garden. Minimalist glass doors, invisible, and hidden inside the walls width. Significantly of the social life in Israel requires spot outdoors, so there are large surfaces for gathering and consuming in the back backyard.

On the second floor- spacious mother and father suite, with balcony that overlooking the backyard. Entering by means of the broad closet that brings to a big bedroom and huge and luxurious bathroom, with totally free standing bath and enormous shower. The basement is functional – Game room for the grandchildren, Fitness room, intimate workplace and additional guest suite. A intelligent program controls the electrical energy, communication program, audio video and air situation -and operated by an i-cellphone. New daily life to present structure, without having destroying the remnants of the past, striving to protect as considerably of the feasible. New lifestyle for subsequent twenty years, to a gladdened and extended family.
