This dynamic restaurant, inspired by a classic Italian trattoria, opened recently in a buying center in Lviv, Ukraine. Finished by YOD Style Studio, Tartufo Trattoria invites visitors to relax and enjoy a taste of authentic Italian fare.
“We made the decision to move away from the classical perception of Lviv, and used only supplies strongly linked to the city’s spirit,” the architects said. “Brass, white marble and oak seem to have a modern day twist — with out decorative carving, monograms or facets.”
The restaurant area is divided into 3 elements: the primary hall with an open kitchen and bar, a lobby location in the food court, and a seasonal terrace overlooking the city.
Light colours, brass and wood tones create a cozy, welcoming ambiance. Intriguing “spaghetti lamps,” designed by designer Andrey Galushka from oak veneer, descend from the high concrete ceiling for an authentic and playful touch.
“The highlight of the establishment is the Stefano Ferrara wood-burning stove made of stone, in which genuine Italian pizza is baked,” the architects mentioned. What are your ideas on the style of this Italian trattoria? [Photography by Andrey Bezuglov]
