Barcelona-primarily based Dom Arquitectura recently completed a gorgeous renovation task in Noutigos, A Coruña, Spain. In accordance to the development group, the aim was to act respecting the recent volumes of the outdated residence, positioned near to the river. Preserving the stone facade and replacing the unique windows, the architects envisioned 2 new modest and strategic openings in the south wall for views and the normal light required within. The new openings with iron frame and fixed glass contrast with the current ones, which have been handled with a chestnut wood. The entrance backyard has been enhanced with reclaimed flagstones, wood benches, ivy and lavender, for a straightforward but hearty welcome.
The ground floor is an open area with a continuous pavement, in which the dining space, the kitchen and the living location are found. 1st degree accommodates 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The second floor was also turned into an open room, flooded in natural light via skylights and a minimize in the cover that originates a little terrace with beautiful views to Finisterre and the Carnota bay.
