Located in a peaceful area near the old town of Cracow, Poland, the XV Residence was particularly developed by studio RS+ Robert Skitek to consider advantage of its hillside area and views: “The constructing stands on the highest point of the street distinguished by its cubic type and smooth white elevations, it is the dominant culmination of the surrounding architecture. The shifting blocks are intended to reduce the reasonably huge optical cubature, while also reflecting the functional zones within the home”. A little backyard with a swimming pool add up to the general modern comfort inspired by this residence.
If only 1 word would be utilized to describe the interiors of the XV House, this would be openness: “All floors are linked spatially, so that from all places there is simple get in touch with with home members in different components of the creating. Even the personal bathroom – a glass cube suspended in open area – enables for insight into other rooms, if the blinds are rolled up”, explained the architects.
