Extraordinary style for the Linhares Dias Property in Brazilia is function of DOMO Arquitetos practice delivering a superbly shaped region of 411 square meters.
From the Architects:
This residence is located in a residential location website shut to the Paranoa Lake in Brasília. Looking the optimum integration for the social areas of the residence we made a decision to place all the system underneath a single huge roof. The roof with each other with the 2 side walls kinds a “portico” that shades the interiors and component of the exterior spaces of the residence. The inner spaces are distributed in diverse positions, both innovative or retreated, alternated with empty spaces that give depth and texture to its volumetric composition. To reinforce the unifying condition of the roof we have clad it internally with natural wood, which is visible from nearly all the inner spaces. The bedrooms located in the 2nd floor have been separated by an internal void and connected by a suspended open corridor in excess of the living room, originating different relations in a double-height ceiling space with views both to the street and to an internal indoor “patio”. The staircase has a sturdy presence in the primary façade, it projects itself in direction of the street and crosses the principal roof, offering accessibility to an open area on the roof for sightseeing.
