NO.MAD architecture studio experimented with not to disturb the nature’;s stability even though they constructed the Casa Levene en El Escorial in an Lorenzo de El Escorial, Spain. Design and style for this residence is shaped as a lively contemporary manner.
From the Architects:
An utmost respect for the natural qualities of the web site adapts the constructing to the room, left by the tree clusters of the present forest. The municipal regulations in height and maximal roof inclination construct a faceted volume of non-Cartesian geometry, absorbing the topography with interior half-ranges. Each system is hosed in many “specialised fingers”, recognisable in the volume and maintaining familiar inner spatiality. The envelop transforms in accordance to the proximity of the trees and their shading choices connected to the interior plans. Sliding along the upper floors a unusual feature with iridescent polycarbonate framework holds all lighting techniques and a collected mass of small inhabitants.
