Canadian architectural firm naturehumaine has created the Stacked House in Montreal, Canada.

Finished in 2013, this 2,518 square foot modern property consists of 4 distinct volumes which are stacked on leading each and every other.

Stacked Residence by naturehumaine:

“This venture was carried out in collaboration with the client who wished to build his personal property. The web site is found in a back alley of Montréal’s Plateau neighbourhood and the design displays the patchwork of extensions and renovations generally located in Plateau alleyways. The constraints of the web site named for a property that was constructed upwards versus outwards. 4 boxes clad in distinct supplies are stacked one on prime of the other. A void carved out of the center of the property, gives daylight, ventilation, and personal outdoor area.”
