Magliocco Property by savioz fabrizzi architectes:
“Surrounded by vines, the web site enjoys a exceptional view of the mountains and the valley. The developing is set into the slope of the website and tries to mix into the landscape by means of its proportions, the materials used, and the way in which it is rooted into the ground.
The constructing has a cellar degree which is partially underground and a level over ground containing the living area. The slab on the ground floor joins the property to the ground to the north. Between this slab and the roof slab, boxes enclose the rooms utilised at night and the services places. The resultant empty spaces between these boxes are the daytime-use spaces, which are total of light thanks to the wide floor-to-ceiling windows. An outside terrace is sited near to the dining area, with a shady tree increasing in an opening in the slab.
A platform of sanded white concrete set on a grey base varieties the support for the boxes, whose rendered brown walls echo the colors of the vines in autumn. the roof slab, also in white concrete, covers the upper floor and supports a 4-sided sloping roof.
Huge canvas awnings are incorporated into the roof slab all about the creating, providing safety from heat and glare. Insulated glazing, very good thermal insulation and a geothermal heat pump make sure optimum energy performance.”Very first Level
