Unsangdong Architects developed the pavilion for the Hyundai Motor Group as portion of the 2012 Expo in Yeosu, South Korea.
Through Yeosu EXPO Hyundai Motor Group Pavilion, Architectural function is recommended to convert the corporate brand picture, which is producing the innovation of transportation in human history. This architecture is mixed with imagination of new long term waves and the movement of Hyundai Motors Group. It is also reproduced even though the concept of ‘Motion Imagination’. This is reproducing chance of amplifying the futuristic imagination which is never ever attained until now. The possibility of substantial-tech and spirit of Hyundai Motor Group is expressed by reproducing the energy. It actualizes the imagination and infinite prospects of nature and urban. The architectural problem of ‘motion’ is proposed by way of the new formation of dynamic segment. The segment of numerous waves, which signifies 3 dimensional “Blue Ocean Wave” movements which is overlapped and connected.
