Zelda’s 1st Birthday

Our third grandchild, Zelda lately flip one so we marked the day with a small family members celebration at home.

Because it’;s summer, strawberry lemonade appeared like the ideal beverage to serve with dinner. I produced the tiny flags on my pc and located the small bottles and straws from Store Sweet Lulu–perfect for small hands.
Zelda’;s large sister and brother loved the great drink on a hot day.
We baked a chocolate birthday cake topped with vanilla frosting and added tiny bird cake toppers manufactured from balsa wooden shapes found at the craft store.
It was simple to cover them with patterned paper. The “eyes” are sewing pins I pushed via the soft wood. They are taped to wooden skewers reduce down to size and inserted into the cake.

Round photograph stickers from Vistaprint are affordable and so beneficial from almost everything to decorating cups and napkins…
to favor tags, invitations and thank you notes.
Zelda loved the cake…
even though much more landed on the floor than in her tummy!
