Designer Giorgio Bonaguro collaborated with Juan Soriano Blanco to produce the Vitruvio Speaker. The form of cube is a “suspended” sphere, which nods to the 50′s. It connects to the external framework through rubber thread along the diagonal. The sphere represents the speaker with 2 audio channels, substantial and reduced, which, when linked to any device (stereo, ipod, iphone, etc.), is ready to transmit the sound, so the ball can move, since of the sound waves, giving a visual impression of the “movement” of sound. Available in May at Wanted Design NYC in a blend of strong wood, metal, or ceramic.
