“Trees” for Tu B’Shevat

Up coming Wednesday evening commences the holiday of Tu B’;Shevat…the Jewish New Year for trees. In honor of the holiday I made tree centerpieces to give as presents for friends.

The branches had been lower from trees in the parking good deal at Lowe’;s (always hold a pair of pruners in the auto, you never know what and where you are going to locate factors!) I allow them dry out for a day or so, then assembled them in some dry foam into pots I bought at Ikea.

The leaves have been lower out of colored paper and glued onto the branches with a bit of glue stick.

The tags had been designed in PicMonkey and printed out on cream colored paper.

Today’;s temperature right here in Connecticut is in the single digits…

but these trees remind me that spring is not that far away!
